Dr. Christos Shaelos

Dr. Christos Shaelos is a highly skilled medical professional who has specialised in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. After obtaining his medical degree from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece, he dedicated ten years of his professional career to working in leading otorhinolaryngological hospitals in Germany. During this time, he gained a wealth of experience and expertise in modern methods of treating diseases in his field.

Dr. Shaelos received his specialty title in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery from Westfalen-Lippe Medical Association in Münster, Germany, following his comprehensive training at Prosper-Hospital in Recklinghausen. Throughout his career, Dr. Shaelos has attended numerous rhinology and otology conferences, both domestically and internationally, to stay abreast of the latest advances and best practices. He holds an approved certification to perform ultrasound of the Head and Neck from the German Ultrasound Society (DEGUM – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Ultraschall in der Medizin).

Dr. Shaelos served as a Consultant at the ENT clinic of Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst, a distinguished academic hospital affiliated with Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. As one of the busiest healthcare hospitals in the region, the clinic provided him with the opportunity to receive training from world-renowned specialists in head and neck surgical oncology. In addition to his consulting duties, Dr. Shaelos was entrusted with the role of surgical trainer for the clinic’s specialised physicians and was responsible for supervising their education.
